New Principal: As communicated by the Board of Management a new Principal has been selected to take over from Miss Brennan who has retired from Knockconan NS. The new Principal, Mr. Bernard Sheehan, has ten years’ experience already as Principal in a school in Cork. Mrs. Donnelly will be Acting Principal until Mr. Sheehan arrives. Miss Brennan wishes everyone well and will be returning to help out with a number of ongoing projects at the school including Green Schools.

We have taken part in the Discover Primary Science Awards for Science and Maths Excellence every year for ten years. This requires the keeping of a log which must be submitted in April. We keep our log on-line on our science log site.
